在很长的一段时间里，由于我自身成长环境中对心理健康问题的偏见，导致我很自然的会把自己的痛苦和创伤埋藏在坚强的外表之下。我自己真正的成长和医治之路是从成为心理治疗师开始的。作为一名治疗师，让我对痛苦，破碎和改变有了更深的理解和体会。

治疗始于安全的治疗关系，我相信和来访者之间建立安全和可以信赖的关系是治愈的基础。在我许多来访者的反馈中，他们在和我的治疗中感受到了真诚，关怀和同理心。

我所擅长的咨询领域包括：个人情绪障碍，依附及依恋关系，身份价值冲突及创伤处理；夫妻家庭关系问题和亲子关系等。

I grew up in a culture where there has been much stigma around mental health and relationship issues. Until I became more aware of the benefits of counseling, I could not recognize there was so much pain and wounds buried underneath what appeared to be my strong outer self.

My own healing started from the therapist’s work. Being a therapist has led to deeper understanding of pain, brokenness and change. I feel it is such a privilege to be invited and trusted in exploring some of those life challenges with you. 

I believe a secure relationship can bring much healing. Healing starts from a safe therapeutic relationship.  In therapy, I love to foster strong and trusted connections with clients. Many of my clients have commented that they feel authenticity, compassion and cared for the therapy sessions with me. 

I specialized in working with individuals dealing with mood disorders, attachment issues, identity struggles, and trauma. I am also passionate about working with individuals and couples experiencing relationship distress and parenting issues. Being in cross-culture marriage of my own for 13 years, I have developed greater understanding and empathy for those in cross-culture marriages. Also, as a mom of three growing children with different strengths and challenges has made me more empathetic to those who struggle with parenting issues themselves.
